We interrupt this class to bring you an important story.

We are here in Nineveh and the most amazing thing has happened.  Everybody in this city has asked God to forgive their sins and they have turned from their evil ways!! And trust me...this city was evil..they used to eat puppy pie and kitten sandwiches!! Yuck!! That's really bad!!

So, what happened? Well, a man named Jonah was sent to this city by God. He told the people of Nineveh that would be destroyed by God in forty days if they did not change. Pretty lame, huh? Well, when the people of Nineveh heard what was going to happen they believed Jonah.  Every person, from the King down to the janitor, asked God to forgive them and not destroy their city.

Jonah, who was not a big fan of Nineveh, was a little disappointed that God forgave them. Some people do what they are told because they were told to do it. Oh well.

God will always forgive those who ask Him to forgive them.
