Our Mission Statement

"Our Mission is to seek out injured, hurting ministers who have been rejected from the ministry or have chosen to leave for self-preservation reasons and help them rediscover the joy of their salvation; to renew their individual value; to focus on God's intent for their lives; and, to provide a safe haven for their needs while mending physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  Concurrently, we will work tirelessly with local churches to help them discover God's intended gifts of joy, peace, and comfort that accrue to them as they learn to enjoy the precious gift of their shepherd."

Theme verse: Luke 4:18-19

Too few people know that there is a massive number of pastors leaving the ministry each year.  Astonishing numbers have been affixed to this exodus.   Various surveys show that anywhere from 20000-50000 ministers step aside from formal ministry annually, most through some form of forced termination.

This site will begin to address this problem and pose solutions to what could be one of the biggest church events in North American.

Today, the word, "pastor", has been transformed into somewhat of a generic term meaning anyone who has been called to ministry.   Under this title there are many expressing the gifts of evangelists, prophets, pastors, teachers and some with an apostolic gifting.  So, when we say we are a Pastoral Advocacy Center, we are including all of these gifts in our thinking.

It is time that the body of Christ make a concerted effort to reach out to injured and hurting ministers who have given their best for our Savior.   Too many ministers that are forced to leave a ministry simply disappear, are forgotten and live in loneliness.  After sacrificing so much to touch people for Christ, these men and women of God deserve our best efforts in searching them out, restoring their dignity and showing God's love for their lives.  To bring healing and renewal to one shepherd, will cause an entire congregation to gather under their wings of care.  The spiritual shepherding gifts automatically gather flocks around them.  They may be formal church settings with thousands, or informal gatherings of tens, it makes no difference to the Lord.  Pastors are honorable gifts placed in our lives for the benefit of the Kingdom of God.  We need each and every one of them to find their place of value and let the Spirit shine through them.

Helping shepherds get back on the road to recovery is one of the best and fastest means to bring revival in our world.

Do you know of pastors who have been forced from their ministry and are floundering in life?  Reach out to them.  Contact us and we will reach out to them also.  Have them email us at gardenmi@san.rr.com . The times in which we live demand that we use all of God's people and gifts to win the lost.  Join with me in seeking the lost shepherds who have much to offer our world.
