The Puppet Patch

Joshua
"We interrupt this 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' for a special news
bulletin. I'm Larry LivingGood. Today we find oursevles in the deserts of ancient Egypt. There is quite a party going on here. The millions of people you see around me are the Israelites. They have just left Egypt. Let's see if we can find someone to help us out with some details.
Excuse me, Sir? Can you tell me what's going on around here?
Joshua - Well, for the last four hundred years our people have worked as slaves in Egypt. You know those big pyramid things, and that sphinx thingie? Well, I don't want to brag, but we did that! So, anyway, God finally decides that we've suffered enough and gets Moses, he's our new leader, to tell Pharaoh, that's the King of Egpyt, to let us go or God's gonna be real upset. Well, long story short, Pharaoh said no. God sent lots of plagues. Flies, frogs, darkness, burning hail, and a bunch of other stuff that was really lame. After all that Pharaoh let us go. Now, we're heading to a place God said he had set aside for us but we just found out that Pharaoh is chasing us with his army to bring us back.
Larry - Well, I'm sorry to hear that. Looks like Israel is caught in a jam. They have run out of desert and have come to the Red Sea...which is essentially a REALLY big lake. And there is that army Joshua was telling us about. Pharaoh has just come over the hillside and seen the people of Israel. Moses is in a tight spot now. He's stepping over to the side of the Red Sea and holding up his staff. He's asking God to make a safe passage for the Israelites. I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M SEEING!!! I JUST DON'T BELIEVE IT!! The Red Sea is splitting in two!!
And this looks way cooler that that old movie!! Incredible!! The Israelites are running into the trench and out the other side!! Here comes Pharaoh's army. They're about half way across and the final Israelite has just cleared the other side. This does not look good for Pharaoh's army.
Yes...Yes...the waters have begun to move back to their normal place. OH!!! THAT HAS GOT TO HURT!!! The Red Sea has crashed down on Pharaoh's army and destroyed them. Bad break for Egypt. Good day to be an Isrealite though.
Kids, you might want to remember this. God has always looked after his people whether they are the Israelites or the Christians. God is there for you and can help you if you ask him to.
Well, what an exciting series of events. Thank you for your time. This is Larry LivingGood reporting from the Red Sea. We now return you to your regularly scheduled game show."
