The Temple

The Middle East and particularly Jerusalem have become hot spots in the world today.  It seems that just another round of violence has erupted and will later subside.  Yet, many are sensing more significance to this outburst.  It is the beginning of the war for Jerusalem itself.

A few weeks ago it all began with the provocation of  Mr. Sharon walking around the Temple Mount and around the Moslem Mosque which enraged those that worship there.  But there is an interesting piece of information that you should look at.  Mr. Sharon did not start this, but the clandestine actions of the Moslems did.  For some time now the Jews have watched as the Moslem Wakf have secretly been destroying Jewish artifacts from beneath the Mosque.  The Moslems say that they are expanding their site to make room for more worshippers. 

Last November, the Wakf opened what it called an "emergency exit" to the mosque it had built in the chambers under the Temple Mount surface known as Solomon's Stables.  By now this exit has expanded into a gaping hole 2000 square meters and up to 12 meters deep.  Thousands of tons of fill from the site, subsequently found by archeologists to contain First and Second Temple artifacts were dumped into the Kidron Valley. 

Quite an emotional stir is happening amongst the Jews in Jerusalem over the destruction of  Jewish history.  It's mayor, Ehud Olmert, told Israel Radio that the work going on at the Mount is "part of an overall plan to turn the Temple Mount into one huge mosque and to erase the immense Jewish heritage at the site and convert it into the Moslem site",  in preparation for establishing Jerusalem as the new capitol city for the new Palestinian State.  Published reports talk of  long-term Islamic movement plans to seize the temple Mount area.  In advance of such an attack there is a movement to destroy all evidence of a pre-existing Jewish society at that site.  If the Jews could show the world that they had claim to the land before the existence of the Moslems, then they could claim international right of ownership to this site.  Thus, the reason for the destruction of the artifacts. 

One of the first battles of this present fight happened at the Lion's Gate at the entrance of the Temple area.  The following news release was sent over the wires.  "JEWS ATTACKED AT TEMPLE MOUNT GATE.  A Moslem riot erupted today at Lion's Gate in Jerusalem, the entry point for Arab trucks to and from the Temple Mount.  Some 150 Arabs attacked three Jews protesting against the ongoing illegal Waqf construction on the Mount."  The first riots were over the protest of Moslems destroying Jewish history and potential proof to their right to those lands.

According to Israel's leading tzaddikim (most lofty spiritual giants),  "there is an intense spiritual battle that is being waged on a cosmic level, concerning the Temple Mount."   The international and final spiritual conflict for Jerusalem has begun. 

There are a lot of important items buried beneath the Temple Mount.  They are being systematically destroyed by those who want no part with Israel.  According to Jewish archeologists they have been denied access to what is in the ground beneath the mosque.  The Waqf have purposely closed the doors to what lies beneath.  Some time ago, after Arabs searched what was there, they sealed a passageway in the structure's western side with concrete to keep everyone out.  They would not disclose what they found.  The Jews desire to explore this tantalizing area before it is destroyed.  They feel that items of great importance are stored there.

The Bible tells of a third Temple that will be built there.  The present events show that Jerusalem and specifically the Temple Mount are ground zero of an immense spiritual battle that is taking place in our eyes in preparation for the return of Christ.  It is time for us to see that our lives are right with God.  And, it is time to pray for Israel.  It has become the focal point of human history again.  Many that I have told about this information have been using it as an opening of conversation that leads to an opportunity to witness the reality of Jesus and His soon return.
